About these terms

These terms apply to the use of the Sygnal website (sygnal.nz) and to any services provided by trading as Sygnal. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

Our services

Sygnal provides software development and system integration services to businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for any engagement are agreed in writing before work begins. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide services at any particular price or timeline.

Intellectual property

The content on this website - including text, graphics, and code - is owned by Sygnal unless otherwise stated.

Ownership of work developed for a client is governed by the written agreement for that engagement.

Payment and invoicing

Payment terms are agreed in writing for each engagement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Sygnal's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific work that gave rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of profit, loss of data, or business interruption, even if we were advised of the possibility of such losses.

Confidentiality

We treat information about your business as confidential and do not share it with third parties except as required to deliver the agreed work (e.g. hosting providers, sub-contractors) or as required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
